Upon his call to the Bar in 1997, he commenced practice with Messrs. Mogan & Co and thereafter in 2000, he joined Messrs. Loh Poh Seng & Co. In 2003 he joined Gibb & Co and in 2006 was made a partner.
He has been actively involved in Rotary and was the President of Rotary Club of Ipoh in 2008-2009 and Assistant Governor for Rotary District 3300 in 2011/2012 & 2017/2018 and a recognised Paul Harris Fellow. He has also been active with the Perak Bar Committee and has served in numerous positions since 1999 until 2011. In 2001 he was the Chairman for the National Young Lawyers Committee for the State of Perak, and in 2011 was the Chairman of the Perak Legal Committee. He is also a member in Perak Turf Club and a committee member of YMCA Jalan Lahat, Ipoh.
